To draw this cartoon Koala step by step, follow along with the video tutorial beneath and pause the video afterward each pace to describe at your own pace. Y'all may find it easier to follow the footstep-by-pace drawings below the video. The new lines in each footstep are shown in red, so yous'll know exactly what to depict next. For the commencement few steps, don't press downward also hard with your pencil. Utilise lite, smooth strokes to begin.

Footstep 1: Lightly sketch two pocket-size circles for the koala's eyes. When you go the shapes right, darken the lines. Don't describe the eyes too close together. Leave room in the middle for the nose. Shade in the eyes but go out a couple of circles blank inside each centre to stand for glare. The heart on the right should be a tiny bit smaller than the centre on the left.

Step 2: Between the eyes, describe a small arc similar to an upside-down letter U for the nose. Add a small line at the bottom to shut off the shape of the koala's nose.

Step three: Below the nose, draw a brusque, horizontal line for the bottom of the head. On the right, curve the line up to create the koala'due south cheek. Bend the line up on the left side too to create the other cheek.

Step 4: Continue to draw the line on the right side upward and then to the left for the top of the caput. Pay attention to how loftier the head goes. Sketch lightly at first to get the line correct. When you get the shape right, darken the line. Add a couple of jagged lines at the top for the koala's fur.

Stride 5: On the left side of the head, describe a curved line for the first ear. Koalas take big ears, and so make this curved line big. It should be similar to the letter C. Add some jagged lines forth the manner to represent fur.
